Alcide DeGagné, MBA, FCGA, CMC
Chairman and CEO
Alcide DeGagné founded Delta Partners in 1989 after a distinguished public service career in which he championed strategic thinking and public sector modernization. As a former Assistant Deputy Minister in the federal government, Alcide understands the challenges faced by senior managers. As the Chairman and CEO of Delta Partners, he guides the strategic vision, continuing to serve clients and advise senior managers faced with the most difficult challenges of modern management and change.
At the municipal level, Alcide has served as Chief Administrative Officer for the City of Ottawa, Chief Financial Officer for the City of Oshawa, and, Commissioner of Management Services for The Municipality of Metropolitan Toronto.
With the Federal Public Service, Alcide served at Veterans Affairs as the Assistant Deputy Minister responsible for Finance, Personnel and Administration, Director General of Finance at Statistics Canada and Director General of Financial Planning and Policy at Transport. Among his achievements he includes the co-ordination of the Canadian Governments’ efforts to prepare Air Canada and CN Rail for privatization.
Alcide has an MBA from the University of Ottawa. He also holds the FCGA designation from the Certified General Accountants Association of Canada and is a Certified Management Consultant, Canada's leading professional management consulting accreditation. During his spare time he enjoys painting and photography.
Greg Tricklebank, MA, CMC
Principal
Greg Tricklebank has been a senior consultant with Delta Partners for over 15 years and is a Partner in the firm. As a seasoned social science professional, he has been largely responsible for developing Delta's practice in Organizational Development and Change Management, including Organizational Culture Change. He is currently extending this practice to address the challenge of Knowledge Transfer and Retention through Communities of Practice. In addition to pursuing these primary interests, Greg provides expertise in survey research and analysis, performance measurement, process improvement and organizational design. He is also a trained facilitator.
Prior to joining Delta Partners, Greg completed a twelve-year ‘first career’ in the health and not-for-profit services sector, where he developed his skills in research, program management and international diplomacy. Greg began his career as the Coordinator of a national health study group, where he managed a multi-centred clinical research project funded by Health Canada. He later joined the National Headquarters of the Canadian Red Cross Society as a National Programs Officer, which led to a secondment to the International Services Division, where he coordinated the first humanitarian assistance project to the Former Soviet Union under the auspices of DFAIT. Subsequently, Greg was engaged by the International Red Cross to head up a diplomatic mission, establishing a new permanent Red Cross delegation in Ukraine.
Greg received a Bachelor Degree in Economics and a Master Degree in Sociology, both from Carleton University in Ottawa. While completing his Master thesis on "Job Satisfaction", he was awarded an Advanced Studentship by the University of Oxford, Nuffield College, where he spent 3 years studying Organizational Theory and the Sociology of Work. Greg also holds a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) designation. During his spare time, Greg can be found on one of his favourite golf courses or cruising in the Caribbean.
Thomas DeGagné, BSc.
Principal
Thomas DeGagné brings a unique combination of skills and expertise to Delta Partners in his role as Director of Business Development, where he is responsible for sales, marketing and other business development activities. He also represents Delta Partners on the Auresco Board of Directors.
His synergistic combination of scientific background with business and financial expertise brings a unique perspective to the task of identifying opportunities to assist clients and aligning Delta's service offering with clients' needs.
Thomas obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Astronomy and Physics from the University of Toronto in 1990. As part of his education, he also completed internships at Statistics Canada, Environment Canada, and Albright & Wilson.
Following the completion of his studies Thomas joined AT&T Global Information Solutions as a Senior Account Manager, designing and managing the delivery of information systems solutions for Canadian retailers such as Loeb, Bata, LCBO, and Consumers Distributing. He then ventured as an independent high tech financial analyst for seven years.
Since joining Delta in 2002, Thomas has developed the marketing infrastructure needed to reach out and inform a widening clientele concerning the value of our services.
Ian Jackson, BComm (Economics)
Principal Executive Account Manager
Ian Jackson, a graduate of the Royal Military College of Canada, has over 35 years of experience in positions of increased responsibility in the Canadian Forces and the Public Service. He is a strategic thinker, problem solver and change leader who has consistently assisted organizations achieve their goals and objectives.
Since 2001, Ian was the Managing Partner of Nexus HR Solutions, a human resources and services and support provider. With Delta’s acquisition and merger of Nexus HR Solutions in 2009, Ian has joined Delta Partners Inc. as a principle responsible for executive account management. Ian continues his quest for challenging consulting assignments in complex management situations with a requirement to establish a compelling case for action, develop a transition plan, and work with senior managers to implement change. Ian’s approach is to work collaboratively with an organization’s executive team acting as facilitator to identify key issues and provide advice to leaders in developing innovative business transformation solutions.
